Bernie recommended...Crimson and Clover - Tommy James & the Shondells

"I have no idea why, but I love this song. It's got a great melody and I find it interesting especially the backing vocals and guitar solo... I do always think they are taking about Crimson and "Clover", as in the brand of margarine though."
