You are:

  • Someone who loves working with data, using it to gather business insight, and sharing your newfound knowledge with those around you
  • Skilled in programming and statistical techniques
  • Experienced in Machine Learning
  • Able to learn new technologies and programming languages

You might have:

  • Experience of the Scala (or Java) API for Apache Spark
  • Experience using Python (or R) for data analysis
  • Strong skills in statistical techniques
  • Practical experience in applying Machine Learning algorithms to a wide variety of problems
  • An interest to develop a deep understanding of business problems in areas that might not always be familiar to you

Your typical day:

  • Attend a media client workshop alongside one of our consultants to explore how Machine Learning can help solve their business challenges
  • Return to the office to work on cleaning data from one of our retail customers and training a predictive model with the goal of improving their revenue
  • Set an experimental model to run on our powerful production cluster overnight, ready to have the first results to share with the team the next day
  • Working in a team of Data Scientists to brainstorm ideas about which ML algorithms to use to solve a given business problem
